Hardesty is a red-eared slider turtle and is named after Hardesty Maratta from Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin.

green days & tired nights
For many years of my life so far, my family has ventured into Appalachia almost every weekend. I feel so connected with the important things when I'm up in the mountains. Being surrounded by family only makes it better.
